We know that students are not paying directly to the instructors, but do college teachers really perceive the situation as students paying them?

Disability Awareness Project: Professional Ethics in the Classroom

St. Petersburg College recognizes the importance of equal access for all students. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the College and its Office of Services for Students with Disabilities seeks to ensure that admission, academic programs, support services, student activities, and campus facilities are accessible to and usable by students who document a qualifying disability with the College. Reasonable accommodations are available to students who: * are otherwise qualified for admission to the College * identify themselves to appropriate College personnel * provide acceptable and qualifying documentation to the College. It is the student’s responsibility to provide notice of the nature of the disability to the College and to assist in identifying appropriate and effective accommodation. Students must personally identify the need, provide supporting diagnostic test results and professional evaluations, participate in planning services, and give adequate notice in requesting accommodation. A Counselor/Learning Specialist in the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (OSSD) is assigned to oversee services on each SPC campus. Made possible through a grant from the Department of Education.

AB NORMAL COLLEGE part 4 of 12 ????

( I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO ) part 1 to 12 www.youtube.com Three young men, some years after high school, decide to go to college. Miguel (Mikey Arroyo), Andres (Andrew E.) and Dominic (Ogie Alcasid) enroll at the Cayetano Curimao College. They meet, gravitate towards each other and become a barkada. The students here are so dysfunctional that they are bent on fun, kalokohan and everything else except to study. To offset this situation and to bring about change, Instructor Miss Eula Yulo (Rufa Mae Quinto) suggests that they sponsor a quiz show. She further suggests that Miguel, Andres and Dominic participate in the quiz. Could these three students carry it off and become real role models for their schoolmates?

Are my feelings about college normal?

I’ve already been accepted to my first choice university and will start in the fall. I used to be super nervous about college but I went to a campus visit day and got to talk to some current students and now am really excited. I just want high school to be over and really have no interest in the rest of the time I’m there.

Is that normal?
What could I do to "regain" my interest and get myself to care about my classes again?

Is going to a college prep high school really more beneficial then a normal high school?

Well, Im beginning high school next year and my mom is thinking about sending me to a college prep school. The only problem is I dont want to leave all the friends I have now (well, not very many because Im not a dirty little skank like everyone else, but a few of my friends, :]) unless I know it will really be worth it.
So, normal high school vs. college prep high school?
Any past experience?

Thankss :]

Why can't I be a normal college student?

I must have some sort of anxiety problem because I just can’t be without my mom. I am such a baby, I had to move home from college so I could be with my mom. She is at work now and I am home and I like about to cry because I want her with me. I just feel so scared without her around, what;s wrong with me? Why can’t I just be a normal college student? (I’m a sophomore)

How to eat healthy as a vegetarian college student?

I will be living off campus and have a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, steam cooker, and a toaster oven. I have been a vegetarian for 2 years now but I am worried that when I go to college I won’t have as much time or money to cook and eat healthy. So what are some easy, healthy, and tasty vegetarian meals and snacks?

I have also never had to grocery shop for myself before, so any tips for that would be great.
